This collection of road/touring (29/ 32/ 36) inch unicycles is ideal for distance riders and commuters, as the larger wheel sizes enable higher top speeds and carry greater rotational momentum. Though they’re not as nimble as some smaller unicycles, they are faster and it’s less tiring to ride them longer. It’s harder to get a larger wheel going, but it’s harder to stop it, too, so you can ride faster and farther over longer distances.
The 36-inch unicycles are the largest and fastest we offer (recommended for riders with minimum inseam measurements of 29.5”) but if you’re tossed up between a desire for speed and handling, we recommend trying a 32-inch unicycle. Unicycles with 32-inch wheels are only a little bit slower at top speeds than 36-inch models but 2-3 MPH faster than 29-inch models. Plus, they handle similarly to 29-inch models, so you get the best of both worlds - speed and better handling.
